Inverness Scout Post is a community Christmas card delivery service, run by local Scouts every Christmas.
Each year local Scouts and volunteers sell stamps, collect cards from yellow post boxes in local shops, sort them, and deliver them across Inverness, Smithton, Culloden, Balloch and Westhill. It’s cheaper than ordinary postage, it keeps a Christmas tradition going, and it gives young people a real job to do for their community.
Scout Post is run by the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey District Scout Council (Scottish Charity SC041542). All the money raised supports Scouting for young people in the area.
